Alvin Lee's challenge to us was to create our own Street Fighter character. Within the time I had after work this is the design I came up with and I'm OK with it but, something as daunting as that challenge could take me months to hone in on a character I'd be 100% happy to propose (if you imagine you're trying to give this to capcom!). I just feel like SF could use a scary villain like female that is eccentric, scarred, and goes all out rippin things to shreds. Just a crazy brutal brawler. The SF ladies got mad class and style- but she is just a mess... I guess that sets her apart... in some way.

I love the concept and the creation process. I'm totally surprised you know what kampfringen is... you know I've researched all things martial and violent for fiction's sake, but cool seeing your stuff grounded in research too.
Since SF is near and dear to me, I'll comment on the design (which I know is an early iteration). Again, the concept is solid- even Capcom went in that direction (and, honestly, I prefer your design to Juri, who I feel is too "weird" to represent Korean TKD and feels vaguely redundant with Rose... weirdness, psycho-power, & purple themes) broadly in terms of evilish (rather than cool anti-hero like Crimson) femme. The style, knives, and rough/aggressive theme is awesome since there are zero SF females like that and almost no SF characters period like that (though more in other non-Capcom series 2D/3D fighters). The style also has more flavor than boring combatives.
Looks: The scars are perfect, the eyes are perfect. The pants are cool. The overall hair, frame, and skin tone is maybe too reminiscent of Elena. The hair's the big thing... if not for Crimson Viper, I'd say a Run Lola Run Red would really make her pop as a character, but lacking that two-tone/blatant dye job would be very distinct (white streak, highlights, frosted tips, etc). That might fit the Euro techno scene a bit (add small ornamental dreds/braids)? The exposed belly is very SF (and a little SNK Blue Mary) so I might go the other way just to make it a bit different. A vest is very Euro. Maybe a modest/faux tube-top (ala Rose)?
Anyways, wish I could design characters, haha. ^_^
thanks bro. I'm glad you like the design and also feel it fits! I did try red but she ended up looking like Kenshin. And like you said, didn't want to go C.Viper either. A vest could certainly look cool.
It makes my day to know you picked up on all the intentional choices I made like making her a brutal brawler type and knive user. And glad about the pants.
Besides, I don't think yours look anything like juri. Juri itself though, looks like a JoJo Bizarre Adventure character named Jolyne Kujo, cpacom always want to reference this manga with street fighter!

The sketchy coloring really brings out a nice roughness.
