Villainy Mix Poll Winner: Joker and Riddler!

Usually I write a little fused bio for these mixes but this time I want to comment more on the drawing itself. But first, thanks to everyone who participated in the poll for deciding on Joker's mix. After doing the previous five mixes, I came to Joker... and being the super villain he is I didn't want to just mix him up with any one, so I'm glad I had you all to ask for that! Although there were some really cool ones that could've been done, I want to respect the top choice, so here it is. Just for anyone's curiousity, my own pick would be an option I thought up of: Scarface+Joker, and Harley as the Ventriloquist. Not making any promises, but I can always do that one as well if I have time.

MAN, this was tough! Mentally the fusion is so straight forward, but that was also what made it a challenge... It felt like there was less to play with from their similar body type, attire, and all that green... but in the end I went with more Joker purple, and allowed Riddler motifs to work into that. I hope you all enjoy this! I stayed up late working on it just for you guys- haha.

Awesome work man!
Its funny that you chose this combo. I've read that during production of the Batman TAS, Bruce Timm and the staff writers always worried about writing Riddler's character too much like the Joker (hence why there were no Riddler episodes in the revamp Batman episodes.) Also Riddler talks a lot :)

That color purple is so rich it's delicious.

I love the hat and the stance so much! The Riddler's question mark motif on the Joker's purple suit really worked out very well.

As blasphemous as this may be, I actually think I like this mix better than both the original villains.

Did I mention the stance? I especially love the placement of the hips.

I reaaaally love this one Eric!
The only problem I have, drawing wise, would be the shading of the left? arm. (The one holding the card) It sort of makes the arm look really flat compared to the rest of the image.

But I don't know if you did that on purpose or not. haha

Other than that, I really like the fusion. :3

in the 60s tv show with these two cackling and laughing all the time, in that regard, they were very similar, making this fusion somehow very natural... yet, when you consider what makes them different this fusion becomes very intriguing... in short, a villain like this would be truly deadly :)
:iconlana8ice:
that is just plain awesome.
I think I wouldn't have exaggerated the finger holding the hard's angle that much, but the rest just fits, ya know? :p
